This is a special one because it’s the first time I ever directed anything with a real crew. It’s 10 days until the Pixel launch, and out of nowhere Google execs are asking if we can throw in a last minute feature demo. 24 hours later I’m on set at the height of covid with an outline I wrote on the plane and 50 people are staring at this 25 year old waiting for me to tell them which blouse color I want Marie Kondo to wear. I like how the orange turned out.
